I have em for a stock truck with a one inch puck. That way with my 2 inch blocks they are an inch or so away.
Factory shocks are for a 2 inch block, from trailboss. When the bottoms disconnected they fall 3 plus inches below the mount. The new ones are longer by about 1.5. When the rear hangs on the lift you have to push up on em to get em on, I don't think they are too short. I do think they are under shocked, not enough valving or pressure making the rear ride like a boat and bounce. Not hard or firm just basically float.I think factory shocks are too short actually. Definitely more droop in the rear than bump but they set the shocks to halfway this limiting droop. Not all that noticable at factory height but once you push it up some they definitely become your "limit straps" lol
Sure they'll work in static droop but definitely not when flexing.Factory shocks are for a 2 inch block, from trailboss. When the bottoms disconnected they fall 3 plus inches below the mount. Looks like stock trailboss rancho 5k are 15-25 travel my new ones are 16-27.
Why wouldn't they tho, if a 10 inch travel shocks set 5 up and 5 down I don't see why there would be a problem with stock leaf springs. On the lift at full droop the don't max and my truck loaded with a ton of coal they don't max. I'd think that's as extreme they will ever see. These trucks don't really flex to well anyway, more like the frame flexes..lolSure they'll work in static droop but definitely not when flexing.
Still has the 60 in it i picked up from your buddy..lol.Nice to see you still playing with that truck .
Thanks, its an eye catcher for sure. Now that its paint corrected it really brings out the depth. That color is amazing![]()
