Shrunken Ned...

Tomorrow..today's my friday..4-10s and I get home at 2am..neighbors frown upon 3am race car testing, so I don't do much shop stuff during the work week.

some time during the day, if not then friday for sure. My blinging cool new GPS/netflix-n-chill setup will be here then.

. My buddy wants me to help him backfill a retaining wall he just built at around 10am and I ordered new wheels and tires for my dodge which I'm pretty sure are in by now. so Im expecting a call from the tire shop to come down. I hit a folding construction sign at 12am, in BFE Idaho, at about 80 mph on the way down to blazer bash. Someone had hit it b4 me and flipped it out sideways into the lane. Couldn't see it till I was on it. Turned just enough to take it on the right front tire. started pulling to the right after that and the tires cupping. Wasn't too concerned cause I was planning on going to a smaller tire anyways, when I got back here and went to the tire store we noticed a crack in rim edge that goes under the bead. Cant see how far the crack goes and if the tire gets pulled and the crack goes structural then no tire gets put back on and I'm stuck. So I'm babying the dodge, but the tire holds air fine and I put 800 highway miles on it b4 I knew so I'm not super worried. The wheels and tires came in last friday (4 black Mod steelies) 2 of them took 32 oz's of weight and still would not balance. They were that out of round. so the shop sent them back for 2 new ones.

not much right now..leather door panels and such in the works and ordered a new air box/filter...getting ready to order 35 spline front axles and slugs for my birthday next month...its 25 degrees in the shop and I we've been held over at work alot due to the weather..starting thursday we go to 12 hours on 12 off with all days off cancelled for the anticipated protests..the 20th could be the mother of all temper tantrums ever thrown by the left...if they get the number of protesters in Portland they are thinking (possibly 35k) and it goes south its gonna be a war zone.

Agreed. Going out to the shop in this weather is low on my list too. Glad to see that the project is still inching along.

Be safe out there and know that know there are people in Portland that appreciate what you do.

I don't watch the news ever...so are these still protestors over Trump or what?
