I thought this front end was a later mode year? I don't see why you'd want to swap front ends if it weren't model year correct if you're gonna go the '63k original miles' route.
they are noisy deathtraps
I have been in a couple of accidents in square body trucks, and very time the person that hit me was seriously injured. My square body engine never even missed a beat and shut off. I was able to drive my truck into a parking lot and park it, while the person that hit me had to be extracted out of there vehicle on a back-board. Their vehicle was sitting in the middle of the road spitting out every fluid it had on the road. My square body never lost a drop of fluid. That is what I get for being an evil "red neck" that drives a full size American truck, and not a tree hugging liberal in a Toyota Prius.
Yup. I had a newer F150 bounce off my bumper a few months ago. Not even a scratch I could see on my DIY4x bumper, but his front end had thousands in damage (bumper, grill, hood). I just gave him my info and left. To be fair, newer vehicles sacrifice themselves for the occupants. I'd rather be in a modern vehicle in a high speed collision, hands down.
