every other week.....

No pics atm, but I DD my 86 Jim every other week. Every week in between, I tack miles to my 2k Dodge Neon which sits at 3" ground clearance.

I bought the Jimmy and a 16' tandem axle for one primary purpose. I own a 30"x84" (3x7) Snap-On second morgage box that needs moving on occasion. I jump military motorpools here at Ft Hood

To think the wifey wanted me to get a new 08 truck.....I wiggled out of it and the note. :haha: sah-weet

Its raining like a demon right now...Im gonna go test out the MTRs!

Just starting to get my junk back on the road... After I put in the new radiator, finish my tube doors, swap in the new tranny, and fill it up with gas:doah: I will be driving it here and there.

I'm gonna be looking at a Soobie EA81 to replace DD duties... gas mileage. It's okay with gas at $2.30 a gallon.. not so much if it goes back to $3.50+

I figure 25mpg and 4wd can be a lot of fun, be nice to dd a manual too :D

With any luck I'll have a nice diesel K5 to DD pretty soon.

Let's put it this way...come hell or highwater...and maybe a foreclosure...I won't be here this winter.

I use mine to tow and haul (mostly haul) on a near-daily basis, as its my daily driver. D60/14bFF, 4.56's. Took it from Michigan to Ft. Bragg and back in March, suffering only some rear driveshaft u-joint replacements (hell, they were friggin old anyway). I'm new and can't post pictures, so perhaps someone can quote me and fix the links? You guys will love my headliner.

the blazer is my DD grocery getter weekend wheeler do all 1001 uses

Mine too.
And this last week my wifes been driving it because I have been to sick to charge her battery...

I drive mine as often as possible. It's my 5th Blazer. I've had it 2 full years. 3 700r4's, 2 sets of axles. Now it is all 1-ton and has been registered for 3 whole days. I don't see driving it on snowy roads with both ends locked, but it will be kept on the road.

It's a camper, a hunting truck, mudder, grocery getter, do whatever I can with it. I hope to own it till death, mine or its.

In fact, I'm going to go mud it in my own pit right now, it's been raining since last night! Then I'm going for lunch!

i like it pavement pounder. specs?

1987. Bought it lifted, either a 4" or 6" (guessing 6" - maybe you guys can tell me). Front packs, rear blocks, TC drop. Stock & tired TBI 350/700r4/208. Had a 3.73 10b/14bSF in it when I got it with wide Mickey Thompsons.

I reconfigured to a 4.56'd kingpin D60/14bFF combo with a gov-loc rear. D60 has Ford dual-piston outers with chromoly 35-spline stubs, Warn Premiums, and Moog lower kingpin camber kits. 315/70r17 BFG AT H2 take-offs. Made a world of difference in driveability. Holding out with 20w50 + Lucas as long as possible before I have to address the drivetrain, lol.

Hope to make crossover steering, lift block elimination, and full 35's or 36's the next mods.
