As long as that frame doesn't go there I'm OK with whatever else....
I still have some work to finish this up, but we wrapped up moving the truck after sunset.

I had someone deliver a transmission to him a few months ago, wish I knew he had this, my buddy could have brought it back here for free.
I don't remember seeing a heater core cover like that before, is that a diesel only thing? Only diesel square body I ever had was 25 years ago and I don't remember seeing that then either...
It was only on the 6.2L diesels, an extra layer of sound deadener material. I'm surprised it is still on the truck, but it will crumble if I try to remove it at this point.
I am pretty sure it's still fine.
I pulled a few of these, people wanted them for gas cars for the sound deadening.
They stay pretty flexible
I have yet to find one that doesn't crumble when you sneeze next to it.

I would just use Lizard Skin (not lizard skins) instead.

The plan is to run all the parking lights on a solar setup. I just need to figure out battery size and type. Then some type of controller to turn them on/off to prevent the battery from going completely dead at night.
The wife and I made a quick run down to Idaho Friday and Saturday. Picked up a 5 ton expandovan from Idaho motorpool's retirement auction.
