Squarebody CHOP Shop

With good conditions they can grow 2-3 feet per year. Costco sells them by the pallet with 22 plants on a pallet as well. It was about $650 with tax.

Yeah them things will be a hedge in a hurry!! I have some next to my driveway that I trim every other year so they don't get too tall.

I have 400 or so growing wild on my property. A lot are covered in Poison Ivy. They will never be trimmed by me.

The old dump bed is gone. Picked up the rear with the front supported with a beam to give enough room for the trailer to back under it. Then lower it down onto the trailer with a floor jack up front and excavator out back.

Getting stuff prepped for a scrap run. Getting out of the center door is a squeeze but it works. The Suburban frame is being saved for a friend but I had a partial frame left over from a C10 to cut up.

I never asked, do you have a barn door handle?
I hope you kept this one and didn't scrap it.
I need one
The handle is still there, I won't be scraping this one for a couple weeks. I still need to fill out with all the random junk laying around.

You wont mind having messed with it when it's cold and the powers out.
Propane heat and Propane backup generator takes care of all that. I have no need for firewood but the property has a lot of trees so it's getting used for the patio fire pit.

I picked up another small project for the shop. The old mini fridge was starting to give up on me so I wanted a larger capacity option. This thing will hold 60 cans per slot x 6 slots.

Only issue was the PO lost the key.i had to drill and air chisel the old lock off. But once open, I was able to confirm everything was working.

Man, there was no way you could have known, but I worked on the competition's version of those machines for half my life, and was darn good at it.
I could have sent you a private message showing you how to get past that lock very easily. Without damaging the whole mechanism.
My company had Vendo, Westinghouse, and Cavalier brands more than Dixie-Narco, but I worked on them too.

Are you going to leave it as is and dispense cans with the workings, or convert it to a fridge by pulling out the stack and putting in shelves?
If you are going to dispense the cans, I can give you a simple 3 wire schematic that lets you get a drink anytime just by pushing a button.
Does it have a coin mech in it? That makes it easier. If not, you will have to wire directly into the Jones plug where the changer normally plugs in.

AH, looking at the pics again, it looks like you have already wired in a vend switch. That machine should hold 300 cans or 174 bottles going by the model number.
You will have to rig up some kind of replacement latch, since without that screw drawing the door closed, you will have a bad air leak.
That screw rod will come out, just held in by a slide in pin as I remember. The spring has no function as to actually closing and sealing the door.
Its there to allow for some "give" when you first push the door shut. Otherwise, when you push the door over the roller at the bottom, the screw can sometimes push the nut out of the housing.

I already have the screw out and will machine a new face plate and knob to hold the door closed. Right now it is held closed temporarily with a ratchet strap.

I plan to keep it bypassed with the button to dispense the cans.
