Before I stuck the radiator in for good I decided to pull the water pump to tap it for the steam ports. I kinda got tired of that hose running to the radiator. Im also going to plumb it with -3 AN off the block and ditch the bent up crossover tube I had running around the huge intake. Ive also got to redo the upper water neck since I switched to the crossflow rad. While I was in there I yanked the timing cover to double check the chain clearance. Not a single sign of the chain rubbing so Im still dumbfounded on where the shit in my pan came from... I will say one thing, next motor will definitely have the LS2 chain tensioner retro fit. I really hate the slack on the one side of the chain.
I got the front runners mounted on the wheels but still need to balance them. Still lots to do on my list. Gotta fix the rubbing header tube, change the slave cylinder (sigh), and buy lots more really expensive lug nuts...
