Stomis' Return of the Truck Build

They bend, they loosen up, they are not as "flat" as you think they are i.e. you can't get very good runout with some of them. The taper on the holes (if they are tapered) is usually wrong.

Other than that nothing

Yep already decided I didnt want to risk it after googling. I'm just gonna go with the pressed and deal w/ the extra inch on each side. No point in making mountains out of molehills

where the pics:D

The camera was dead and we dont know where the hell the charger is lol. I wont be back over there til probably fri.... dinner with rents + valentines day tonight, dinner for deposition with attorney tomorrow, deposition on wed, Atlantic City Auction thursday probably...

And before you guys ask I didnt do anything wrong. When I worked at Advanced Auto some jerk off fell off his broken ladder and it was his own fault. Now hes trying to bend the company over and say there was oil on the floor so me and my buddy that worked there are giving a legal statement to wreck this money hungry douches day.

My dad was kind enough to pick up the rear axle for my truck tonight. $175 got me a 4.10 SRW full floater 14b from a reputable axle dealer. Didnt even have to drive to get it was 5mins from where my dad works.

I decided to finally move to a mid size platform instead of carrying on with the rattle box square body chevy. Motor, trans, tcase are getting pulled next weekend, then the weekend after that the tires/wheels, springs, and axles are getting pulled while its on the trailer for its destiny to the scrapper.

And yes my beautiful creation of a bed, the first real thing I fabd is getting scrapped...
