supermotard's 74 Jimmy "Magdalena" Build Thread

Man give a guy a minute to wake up. . . .

so with the help of Paul ^^(PBlaze) we were able to knock out about 75% of the list.

Most importantly the rig run and moved under its own power for the first time since the th400 np203 setup.

quick run down.

got the ignition wired up.
Modified fit and installed trans flexplate cover
custom made and plumbed titanium tranny cooler lines and mounted cooler
filled the trans and transfer case
installed front and rear drive shafts
installed and adjust new shifter for the trans
mounted bed and made front bed mounts

Fuel tank plumbed need to mount the tank permanently still and put a cover over it. But I'm happy so far.

Got a little more work done. Clocked the rear spring perches so my drive shaft angle is right for my rear CV. And Inboarded the shocks after doing alittle bit of research I wanted the shocks to help fight axle wrap as best as possible. So I came up with welding some 9/16" bolts into some 2"x1/4" angle and welded them to the front of the axle tube. It's. try it to see how it works kinda thing.

Did you cycle the suspension to make sure you have enough travel?

I was wondering if you would have to get different length shocks for the inboard to function properly.
