i wouldnt, but it depends if you think they would help you offroad.
I think of it as thats 200 bucks you could use to put towards a better set that is maybe 500-800, that you would need to get very soon anyway even if you bought them.

Yep, my 38's are long gone.....some guy drove all the way up from Richmond
on a sat morning to buy them (for more then I paid a year earlier 
)
I liked my grooved 38" Michelin XL's.
