I am at a crossroads with this truck. I love it, as it was my first car and I have had some great times and made a lot of memories with it (sounds gay, I know, but whatever). On the other hand, it is becoming much more of a hassle and problem to fix and keep in good shape.
The tailpan is rusted out, and every time I hit a bump it sounds like the tailgate is about to fall off. I'm coming to the realization that I don't have the money and won't for a long time to fix this thing up right and give it the attention that it deserves. It needs a tailpan, rockers, some engine work and other little things here and there that are going to add up to a lot. I'm in college, and I will be for at least another year and a half depending on whether or not I decide to pursue a masters or a law degree.

Basically, I am thinking about selling it while I can still get at least some money for it, and then maybe down the road get something else thats in some better shape and will be at a time for me where its better to own one. I don't wanna do it and it sucks, but I may just have to bite the bullet. Guidance?

Damm... I thought that text was a joke at first:doah:

Storage till you can fix it up some so it doesnt get worse? Make some extra cash over the summer to sink into it?? I know where your coming from, I work while going to school and most of my extra cash goes into mine... All depends on your priorities, if something comes up I know I would have to put mine on hold, but i feel untill that certain "something" comes up, ill just keep working on it.

I go back to school on Sunday, and I am gonna see what I can come up with cash wise. If I can get a third job for now, which shouldn't be a problem, I should be able to save some cash and be able to put some towards the truck.
