Swettysblazer's 1991 K5 Trazer: ONE TONS!

Truck's as good as it is gonna get.... loading up in the morning, going to work, and heading out for a weekend of wheeling with the usual group!

Truck did really well this weekend.... We didn't get the chance to do a lot of "hardcore" challenging stuff, but I was impressed with the locker. Only casualties were a blown bead and a headlight... I'll do a full write up later.

Did a full tune up on the truck today.... Since I am driving this thing to Michigan again (:doah: ) I want this thing to be running as good as possible. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, filters, tranny service and some fuel line repair all happened today. The only thing I "need" to get done before I drive 2000 miles is to get my tires figured out. I can't drive over 55 without getting my kidneys pulverized because of a wicked vibe.... I'm going to be posting some wheeling pics and vids shortly as well.

So a few weeks back, our usual group of East Coast guys decided to check out a new park that just opened out near Shamokin, PA. Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area caters to dirtbikes, fourwheelers, side by sides, and trucks. It was pretty obvious when we were out there that their main focus was for the smaller vehicles. A lot of the trails were very tight and had almost no markings on them.... that being said, it was a little bit disappointing of a trip, but we still managed to have a good time. Maybe in the next few years when they get more settled in the park will really be another great spot on the East Coast. Anyways, on to the pics :D I didn't take most of these, Rich's friend Courtney did. She's an awesome photographer, as you will see!

First, the rigs who were able to make it (minus one of the other cronies, newoldscottsdale77)

Lunch time!

This next section is a pretty sweet creek section that we ran. It was a legitimate creek... running water and everything. We weren't sure if it was a trail or not, but it turned out that it was and it was really cool. Rich and I didn't run this part because we weren't sure if we could make it up some of the waterfalls.

Rich got a little hung up

This brings us to the last day of our trip. Rich BURIED his truck in the swamp and had to get yanked out twice. We didn't go through there for obvious reasons after that....

There was a cool open spot with some mud so we played around there with the trucks and let the little guys go for a spin as well.

And a few videos as well. I'm still working on some more.

Wow, a rare sighting of Thornturds in the wild!

How are your tires balanced now? I liked airsoft BB's in my 38's.
