Swettysblazer's 1991 K5 Trazer: ONE TONS!

I haven't updated this in a while and some things have happened. Mainly, I replaced my old, worn out, Rough Country Springs and front shackles and mounts with some new BDS springs, DIY FUSH kit, and some of the extended shackles. All I can say is, I do not know why I waited so long to do this. The ride difference off road is a huge difference and the truck is much much better to drive. That was on a Saturday night, on Sunday we were up at Rausch breaking in the springs (and my fender :doah: ) and seeing what else was up there. Also got my Corbeaus in, can't wait to mount them. springs2.jpg springs.jpg rich.jpg dent.jpg wheeling.jpg seat.jpg

That forward shackle angle is interesting. Looks more forward than even a stock truck. But hey, if it rides good and ain't broke, then it's all good. I'm sure the switch from RC springs to almost anything but Superlift springs will feel awesome! :D

looks good, I'm planning a similar design. I assume you'll be adding another harness bar, that one looks too low?

Its done and in, I am going wheeling this weekend. Kinda was just cruising along to get it done as I had a deadline. I will get more pics of it when its nice out and post them up.

@Babaganoosh so I could fit the X in and still have it tucked back far enough so that my ogre self could fit in the seats haha.

What’d you use to cut the holes in the dash? Looks clean. I haven’t seen anyone use the diy kit and keep the original dash and I’ve been wondering if it could be done and look decent.
