Ive heard nothing but good about them, only thing i dont like is the price, but 188 from tirerack dont seem bad, but got a buddy whos dad essentally runs the service side of a big'o'tire in a town over, and gonna see what he can get them for. Anyone here ever bought tires offline? Dad has a tire changer (coats 3 star, i love this thing! i need my own ) so no worries about mounting.

I spent around $200 a tire for my 35x12.50r15's. little steep, but i feel it's worth it b/c BFG is such a good company. Had good experience with their A/T's and street tires. my dad loves em. haha

when i bought the 86 from my bro it had 4 new 32" bfg at's in the back never been installed, he said that i got a deal since it included the tires. Now i realize i got a steal at 800 for a rust free k5 and new 32 bfgs.







Would a trac lock be good in the front and a detriot good in the back? want something that will work with this np203 and guy has a trac lock listed for 150 bucks, no detriot listed but im sure someone on here has one.

powerloc = better of the 2 spicer units.

i would parttime the 203 if you plan on traction device in each end mabye .

just mounted 4 285/75/16 on a h3 the other day. thay do seem real nice and heavy lug tires. load e also and heavy .

ive always been about the tall and skinnys, although brother does run the 285/75/r16s on his 02 f250. But since ill be running stock rims i think the 255/85 is the better choice.


And ive been thinking about the part time 203, and also about a doubler Figure, if your gonna go big you might as well go all the way. Doubt ill ever need 4:1 unless pulling something heavvvyyyy a very short distance and very slow speed.

i got 4k in my dana 60 and its not even built yet.

hey kansas forgot to mention that the axles came with old school hubcaps all but one is missing ......i think i might rock them as i a fan of tall and skinny and old school i would put a picture on here but i dont know how

Well I got a $100 truck and I put $1000 tires and wheels on it and $500 for lunch box lockers on both ends and drove the **** out of it for 4 years.
Why not?

And by the way the stock wheels are either 16x8 or 16x9.75, the only 16x6.5 are the dually wheels.

I dont have 4 g's for a 60 build yet, maybe ill find a 4.10 60 and slide it under this than ill six lug the 44 and throw it under the k5.... hmmm.....

Sir, you got yourself a deal And are you sure on the sizes? i have some out here i just need to pop the tires off of, but ive never payed attention to how wide they are, but i have a feeling they arent 8 inches wide like the rallys for my k5 but i may be wrong, these are off a 2wd as well, i dont know what all sizes of the double safety beaded wheels they made.

My stock steelies aren't that wide. I don't remember the exact width, but I know it's less than 8. I wish I could find some wide ones, then run a set of the 70's style dog dish caps.

Why don't you look for used tires. Buying new tires for that truck seems ridiculous. I would just buy a set of used hummer tires and cut the wheel wells, it's not like the fenders are pristine or anything.

i have bought tires from tirerack and would do it again no questions asked. they were great and if you need any help with specials going on they will help

I just bought a set of 4 31x10.5x15" BFG All Terrains for $260, mounted and balanced. Two were brand new take offs, one was 95%, and one was 70%. I put them on a $100 Blazer, and I felt bad spending that much on tires. Look around at tire stores and Craigslist. There is no point in paying for brand new tires on a truck that hardly runs and drives.
