Well wouldn't you know a while back a mysterious box from Wyoming showed up in the mail. I don't claim to know too many folks in the Cowboy State, so this did puzzle me some. Inside the box was a set of fancy full disk GMC wheel covers, just like old Jimbo here would have had rolling off the factory line in February 1984.
I knew straight away who shipped these glorious saucers to my humble shack: none other than everyone's favorite stock hubcap loving weirdo with a great big bushy beardo,
@82355 .
I think it gives the old rig a rather distinguished appearance. What do you guys think?
These long Oregon winters are about as wet as a you'd imagine, which I'm sure is doing wonders for my rust spots and dry window seals.
I'm just about ready to get started to prepare thinking about planning my axle swap project, but first step was to clear out the car hole and get this big unit dry.
Fits like a glove.
Barely. Shoulda got a bigger garage.
This is my daily commuter on my daily commute. Sure isn't an ugly drive, but the steep hilly curves do get old after a while. Sometimes I just want to drink my coffee and motor down the road, not be on constant high alert for dumb drivers, deer, and occasional black ice.
