They look quite large compared to the Jimmy.
It's a little bit of a trick angle and forced perspective that makes them look so enormous, but you're right, they actually are impressively large.
It might also be in part due to their lack of curves and stainless steel appearance.
Modern normal trucks dwarf the Jimmy. Even the Toyota Tacoma has grown to nearly the size of my beast.

So for a while, like a year or 2, my passenger wiper has sucked. I assumed it was due to a defective blade, since the center of the blade doesn't touch glass.
This is kind of what it looked like in the rain.
But I put a new blade on yesterday and the problem was exactly the same. I figured then that it could be the spring on the arm, since it looked different than the driver's side (which works perfectly).
The top one appears stock, the bottom one has a shiny aftermarket spring without the clip and pin, which is weaker and doesn't press the blade against the glass firmly enough to keep it free from rain.
Anybody got a spring, clip, and pin for sale?

Took the old boy up into the Oregon Coast Range for a little camping trip with the family this past weekend for my wife's and my anniversary. Ran like a champ.

I recently received some constructive feedback on the condition of the passenger front seat upholstery.
To be fair, it has seen better days.
Especially the seat cushion. Somebody tried recovering it with naugahyde and rubber cement in the not too distant past, but it has started to crack and fall apart.
The driver's seat has also been recovered, but in a near-stock style of vinyl fabric in color, texture, and in stitching, so I assumed that was what I would find beneath this crusty top layer.
I was wrong.
It was just more cracked vinyl, though a much more accurate color and texture than the one on top.
I decided then that I would invest my hard-earned American dollars into nothing but the finest premium automotive upholstery upgrade money can buy on Amazon for under $26.
Let me present to you:
The "Black Panther Luxury Faux Leather Car Seat Cover Front Bottom Seat Cushion Cover, Anti-Slip and Wrap Around The Bottom, Fits 95% of Vehicles - 1 Piece, Beige" seat cover.
Not only did it get delivered 5 hours after I ordered it, it came with a handy installation guide, most of which was comprehensible!
The instruction manual was very polite.
The "stylish and elegant look" of the "slightly convex triangle" design belies the "excellent workmanship" we've all come to expect from the fine folks at Black Panther.
It's such a near-perfect match, I almost couldn't believe it wasn't fact'ry.
But I guess I have to, I'm looking right at it.
The butt test proved it was more cushy and less pinchy than what was there before.
So now the seat has at least 4 different vinyl fabrics on it, all of varying shades of tan. It helps add character, I say.

I took the family out for burgers and on the way home, stopped by a vacant parking lot to dump the clutch and wow them with my as-yet untested burnout skills.
So I revved it way up, dumped the clutch in 1st gear, and heard a loud BANG or clunk. Seemed to come from the transmission area, as it was very loud noise in the cab under the floorboards. It will not move under its own power.
The driveshaft is intact and it goes into all gears with the clutch pushed in or let out. We pushed it a block, then walked home another block. At least it's in my neighborhood.
What should I focus on inspecting to get it back to being mobile?

When you let the clutch out and try to drive, is the rear driveshaft spinning or no?
No spinning
I would guess maybe you broke the input shaft on the trans. Or maybe the coupler between the trans and t-case. Can’t remember what t-case you have.
T case In gear?
That's what I was fearing. Sweet!
Yeah definitely try all ranges and gears to see if you get anything if you haven’t already
Could have broke the tcase too. That would be an easier fix
Try shifting the T case through the other positions, just for testing.
If its a 84 possibility a np208?
I believe it is an NP208. I'm going to bicycle back over there and play around with it.
