I absolutely loved mine when I had it set up properly. I almost wanted to keep it but I wanted modern injection more. To me it was able to preform to the goal I wanted. Even though it took me 5 years to do it, it's still tied for favorite mod.

My Dad always told me to leave it alone... He came home one day the air horn was off and everything was laid out... It was my daily driver.

Took me a few tries because of the double metering rod hangars to get the top back on but still a trip how well they run on a range of motors..
 
I never really figured the qjet out. Now Holly carbs I can do since those are what I've messed with the most.
 
Ordered a new bearing for the back of the 205

Also not had good luck converting the sender to the ferrule style AN fittings. Hoping to back up a bit and maybe use these
