Aftermarket ones aren’t that expensive I don’t think.
They are just plastic not the pot metal originals but they look good in the pics.
One of the guys on here had some he bought a few years ago. Nice new and had shine!

I was derelict in taking and posting pics. Axle is together minus rotors, spring bushing is replaced, bunch of painted, old steering box is off and arm removed, shims removed from the springs, new center bolts on the springs

need to paint the drag link, tie rod, and spring plates. Actually making the effort to strip everything to bare iron

Yup. But you told me that you plan to keep this one until the end, so it's good that you are taking the time to clean an preserve your work as best as possible. Plus, this truck has less of an intention to piss off J**p owners with the build than the sidebar intention in the '72. Correct?

Well possibly.... I guess that I could have also told him about using cardboard under the parts to keep from having funky outlines on the tailgate.

When we were talking about limit straps, this is where mine is installed full droop. Still have 1.5” travel on the shock. This is with a jack under the drivers side, but the axle didn’t drop much lower with the drivers side loaded
