I would recommend everyone to get an NP241/NP205 doubler as opposed to an NP203/NP205, except for someone who already had an NP203/NP205. Seems there are better places to spend money.

159 is better lol. But if you had a Magnum instead of the 203, you could run 3.73 axle gears for good highway rpm’s and have 130 crawl ratio.

That's crazy talk. An NP241 is far superior to an NP205, but not an NP203/NP205.

Yeah, I said what I said. Maybe its alright with 37s but with my 4500 doubler, id use a single 3:1 more often than the 2:1 and 4:1.

I actually find have 2:1 pretty useful. Not sure I’d change that part of it. Also not sure I’d gain much with a magnum without bigger tires, which I won’t do on these axles

This is wisdom. Magnum 205. Its the only answer unless a Hero is in the cards too. Seriously once inflation hits and all our dollars are worthless you'd be wishing you bought it before you needed a dump truck to haul the cash to go buy it. Now is the time, you have to do shafts anyways and the case is out. Once its in there and you're wheeling it you will never think about the money, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
