So I agree with just crossover no hi steer. I have 56s in front with assist. Too much stuff yup there. And I wheel only rocks. Make that tie rod super beefy. .250 wall is for mall crawlers

Ok, I will nibble. I have seen enough photos of interference on hi steer. Any good photos of what you guys are setting up for cross over? What arm are you using on the box?

So, after talking with @63chevyII about spings and such, going the 64" route on the rear. Planning on hanging those off of some ORD 2.5" flips with super shackles.

still planning on the 52" out back currently going up front. Likely going to do the ORD kit up there too. Fact is, too lazy to fab everything from scratch anymore!

Cool. I love how they work. And they ride so soft

Yeah my other option is a set of 60"ers out of a Dodge. They are 27.25 on the front side, would allow to use front hangers without moving them. At this point due to rust issues I am dedicated to pulling the bed completely off anyways. At that point i can fix my rust, hang a single center tank and skidder, and move spring hangers on both ends if need be (if I use 64s)

Either way giant leap forward.

Anyone having issues with axle wrap on the 64s?
Mind you this is a K10 and not a burban, I'm sure that weight difference factors in.

I did a little. But that was when the IROKs were new a and also a 39.5.

Like you stated...aslo a heavy burb. So i added an anti wrap bar and so glad it did. It really changed how it wheeled.

Cool, I thought you were gone, but now you're back again!

So being on vaca all week, I took some time to pull the pass door and do the quick release pins ala BtoC. Knocked out some rust in the rockers in prep for replacing that and the cab corners.

Yes I stood it on the tailgate for that picture

Related note: got an email today from ORD that parts are headed my way

Found this little nugget under the work bench.

I notice plenty of hopping with my 63s. I don't think I have ever seen a set that didnt. Although it can be controlled. Just for kicks I tried a 6 leaf pack including the overload. It flexes great. My springs are in boarded though.

The dodge springs would be cool. What are they from? I used some dodge springs from a 95 they flexed awesome.

Also I am just running the superlift 1104 steering arm. Can't really tuck everything up much higher than that really. Moving the steering box is a huge pain.
