Yeah I'm hoping I don't mangle it. But it's not stock now, so if it falls off its ok!

I happen to have a clean stock bumper laying around, so if you do, let me know. lol.
Good to know!

I'm not planning on using this rig to knock down the Rocky Mountains like the last one. Almost had threads showing on the 14ff.

I will have to drive more my age I guess

Well... WAS looking forward to wheeling with you one of these days but that ruins it. Lol

I have a Warn steel hawse fairlead I'd give us if you're interested. It's meant for steel cable and wouldn't stick out as much as the roller fairlead.

I'd like that. Think the hawse will suffer a beating a little better too

You have to wheel hard if you have a hawse fairlead though. Unwritten law punishable by a minimum of 30 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Love the stealth mount wench!! One day, I may actually work on my K5 again, and maybe not on that day but a day sometime later I may buy a wench, and on another day even later along the timeline of infinite dicking around, I'll mount my wench behind the bumper like you did. Nice work!

Decide which vehicle to fix, I'll meet you in Moab. If not for BB, they have a cool rod and customs show the end of April

I'll fix both, concurrently. I don't have a favorite child between these two. My Blazer is really close to being a driver, but it's been outside all winter and both 57 Pontiacs are in my garage. That's why I've been working on the 57 the last few months. :waytogo:

What I should be doing is stripping the few good parts off the parts 57 and having the remains taken away. Then both my problem children can be in the same garage...

Short legs ruin that

Hey what the, has my thread been hijacked? Again?

:haha:
