Kurt has a nice little cart to put all of his reels like that on (dowel through the center). If I were doing something like that I'd consider something like that also. Keep it all easy to get to.

The ARB pump mounting plate that sucks as an ARB pump mounting plate has been repurposed as a tank selector valve mounting plate.
Drivers tank back in, fuel lines routed back across the frame to the valve. Installed new fill and vent rubber as well
Sorry for the delay but I got four pieces of the large diameter pipe for sliders cut tonight. The pipe was 30" long so enough for 5 feet each side. At one time you said you wanted to do 6 feet. Do you need another piece cut? If so I'll hold off on shipping for a day and cut another tomorrow night.

No, those aren't BBC pipe gaskets. Mamas car crapped out the flimsy exhaust gaskets. Mr Gasket corrects lots of engineers. That did eat lots of truck time today
Did pull the carb and dizzy, cleaned the intake pretty well. Pulled the factory pump plate, pulled the pump rod and covered it with a plate. Helicoiled the intake bolt that was fudgy, installed the adapter plate, and installed a T for the oil pressure stuff.
Need to debuild the egr stand so it's only stuff I'm using. As in not the egr.

No, Mr Gasket sheets. .060" gasket paper.
I drill the holes out backed up by a piece of wood, much cleaner hole

I used to use silicone on the paper gaskets. I sounds crazy, but it makes them last a lot longer!

The best thing I like to use is some aerosol High-Tack. It makes the gaskets stick in place and helps them seal a little better and they won't squish out as bad as with silicone on them. Also if you want really purdy holes get ahold of a gasket cutter set, they are way handy for punching holes.

Believe me or not, but regular RTV works. I never tried hi temp before I switched to the graphite style.
And the RTV never sticks much due to the heat. I don't get why it helps, but I know that it does.

Shell casings make great holes in gasket material!

Install pump
Wiring to drive pump and gauge.
Lines back to diverter valve
Rewire switch to drive diverter valve
Pull in main harness
Land sensor wires
Rum pump relay wire through tank selector switch
Land com terminal, run CEL
Adjust throttle linkage for 100%
Check for fuel leaks
Test fire, set timing
Check codes
Replace pan and valve cover gaskets
Install front driveline
Install hand throttle
Air cleaner
