The throttle cable Josh linked to earlier might do that if you wish.So will the handthrottle return on its own if you let go or is it more dial in and stay?
I know I can bump the idle on the efi setup...this here looks real simple too. It looks like it just controls the pedal yeah?

I personally don't like anything sticking in the throttle system.
The one time I needed the keep the throttle up (hard winching from the top of the pile) I used a gals hair tie and help it open at 1500 RPM
Big enough alternator and 2x batteries, probably won't need to throttle it up. I eventually went with 2x 1000 A optimas. That rig was trail heavy, winched a lot of people out on a constant basis. The new fancy efi will let me adjust idle on the fly...wondering if I could get away with that. Either way I like your setup and I'll probably go that route.

I opted for a single 1000A on this build. Not going bat guano tho
I tagged you in his thread. He did add a bigger alternator, tooSuuuure. Just a little part here and there then bam...ultra 4 truck and sponsors!
Good to know. Id love to see more of the ol k5....
Ill definitely do two battrees at some point. For now I need the big alternator to get me going.

It's in the crickSo, I have yet to see this hand turtle you are talking about...

I've just got a big slab of 4x8 square tube to run flat across the back. That's the next project after I get the truck back together.
