The FCC is just an option for people that don't want to redo their entire fuel system. It's intended to feed off of the manual pump but can be fed off an electric pump.
I'm sure they have.I'd think FItech would do such testing to validate their products...
Seems backwards doesn't it?It's like the fuel system equivalent of 6" lift blocks. I can see it working, but it sure doesn't seem like the best way...
No winingNo sour grapes. You have a very nice thread here.

I agree, I don't think that is the target audience.Yeah the FCC is more focused on applications that still have mechanical fuel pumps. I don't think FiTech is necessarily targeting users with already TBI equipped vehicles. I'm only considering it because the motor I'm swapping in is carburetor equipped.
I doubt the FiTech would outperform factory TBI on a stock motor. It would start to look better with a more modified motor, especially for people that don't have access or comfort with burning custom chips for the factory system.

We need a ck5 user with a dyno so we can all dyno our stuff
It's a PITA. Not sure how many FUTech folks are using the 2 tank system. We know Skunk isn't!It does. So I'll repeat my question. Why is this a popular solution? Is it that hard to redo the fuel system with a return line?
I think it can be with older muscle cars and the like. Plus if you think about it the FCC just makes it that much more of a easy bolt-on solution. Sometimes 'easiest' will outweigh 'best'. Or else they wouldn't still be selling lift blocks! LOLIt does. So I'll repeat my question. Why is this a popular solution? Is it that hard to redo the fuel system with a return line?

Pbbth!!!I'm running a blazer tank. Lol
Well now that you're being technical... it's actually sitting on the floor in my garage about 10' from my truck. So future present tenseIn your pickup? Is that a present tense "I am" or a future plan?
Curious to see how it fits. This build thread is open to all builds so feel free to post up in here.Well now that you're being technical... it's actually sitting on the floor in my garage about 10' from my truck. So future present tense
