If we don't have one already a fluid chart of what should have what kind of fluid would be helpful. When I pull out the doubler to replace gaskets etc. I would be looking for the info. Currently gear oil in both 203 and 205, 400 auto trans gets dexron 6. I think it was.
 
This week I've been running around like mad, put around 1,200 miles on the service truck and haven't been farther than 62 miles from the shop. The cold weather made it major go time
 
Yep, just over 1000 miles on my service truck since last Wednesday. 30 hrs OT last week alone

So no dice on the 203 rebuild yesterday. Spent most of the day at the ER with Mrs. Bent. Thought she had a kidney infection or stones. They finally sent her home with pain meds.

She says she feels a little better this morning, but still quite under the weather.
 
That sucks, hope she's feeling better. I was in the ER last Thursday with my wife, hate that place.
 
Sorry to hear that. I hate when you go home without really knowing much more than when you went in. Hope it all sorts out.
 
Yes, doing the pto routine for the 205 as well since it's clocked

Sorry for the super late response.

I put in whatever I feel like at the time.

The NP203 called for straight 30 weight motor oil from the factory.

The NP205 called for 80/90 (or something close) early and ATF late.

I just run whatever is cheap and handy. I have a bad habit of contaminating fluids, so I am not going to buy expensive stuff.

Currently I believe my Blazer has the same lube in the axles, transmission, and both transfer cases (80/90).

I don't know that an SM465 really cares what you put in it, so long as there is something in it.
