Was that too subtle? Trying not to overkillYou need to get some brighter orange crayons...
My truck does do work. Just don’t want to create a structural event via gas axeThe bed will be fine without the support unless you are planning on hauling loads of concrete.
How are you going to fit the filler between the bed and the frame?

And the filler neck is going to fit.
Might be like shoving a tailpipe up a ducks butt, but it’ll go
Well they fit factory on blazers and burbs w/o a body liftI want to see it fit, mine is tight with the body lift.
And the bed will be fine, don’t over think it.
Probably have to, don’t think anything else is going to work over the frameI cut one support for clearance on my '70, but shortbed, so a little less length to flex, combined with the fact that it doesn't get used much for hauling.
I did have an actual ton of flagstone in the bed once, behind the toolbox!
I don't believe that you will have a huge problem with the filler hose, but I don't know what diameter you need. I think that the older stuff was a smaller size.
Are you really going to use a torch to cut it?
Well they fit factory on blazers and burbs w/o a body lift
And the support I need to cut is the rear main support also the body mount and bolt. So taking a bit of a gander before I go hog wild. Just trying to prevent a future issue
What paint? No, hadn't even thought about that, I just envision lots of burnt paint. ..
And I don't see that using a cut-off wheel above yourself will be pleasant.
