Is there any reason you put the filler on the passenger side and not the driver? I'm lazy and don't want to walk to the other side to fill it haha.
Hmmmm, I think you might be onto something.Because every modern car is driver side tank, and the rest of the population uses those before I get there. Been running the passenger side tank as my primary for twenty years. I drive right up to the pump

Pump traffic must be limited to one direction in CO.

The K5s and suburbans had the filler on the right side anyway.
Will the sender clock 180* to be able to point the fill tube to the left? I know that there is a tab which would need to be cut off, but what about the float clearance in the sump. (assuming TBI tank) otherwise the fuel lines would point to the left as well.
And what does it matter if you turn around before or after filling up??? Lol!
But the little bit of exercise won't hurt...
