Yeah they are 3/8”, which is definitely nice

On a funny note, the manufacturer recommended me to not use the cc17 model due to fitment concerns. They fit fantastic and look to have plenty of clearance for the plugs

Aren't these the ones they said would interfere with the clutch linkage?

you should let them know about that too.
I contacted them, sent some pictures, and explained what I was seeing different than them. It’s impossible for a parts manufacturer to envision every vehicle platform. Always good to ask a lot of questions if you’re retro fitting stuff

Yeah part of it was also moving stuff around to get a good look at the drop to the starter to keep the wiring clear

You could run the starter engage wire on top of the engine with the wires for the ECM temp sender, then drop it down the front and the it to the positive cable along the oil pan rail.
How are you running the charge wire? Direct to the battery, or up the the junction on the firewall?

Junction just because it looks cleaner. Debating on pulling the others down n around

Should we plan on putting grip tape on the right hub, so that you can stand on it to reach the dipstick?

Good progress. I know the little details are a pain, but future Mark will thank you for doing it right this time around.

All that stuff takes so much time, but so worth it down the road. Nice to see you plugging away. You are getting dang close to firing that motor.

That’s what I keep telling myself. Lots of fixing things I should’ve right the first time, some are hacks I did 20 years ago

I totally understand. I pulled the stereo I put in my Nova back when I was in high school. Wire nuts. If I could have gone back in time I would have whooped my own tail over that one.

I spent 4 hours today installing a head unit in Eileens Corvette. 3 hours was spent cleaning up and figuring out what works went where in the center console. Yhe PO was aahack. Half an hour installing it. Half an hour figuring out how to program it.
