These are the Evil Energy stainless V bands. Only a few bucks more than the mild steel.

They have the machined lip for the tube to sit in. With my mediocre exhaust welding skills I figure this will help.

Yep was two boxes, stuff on the bench was packed separate

No idea what to do with those weird U shaped bolt things. I have a glue gun. Works on metal
