Dead and blind, he probably welds better than me
We’ll I’m about as far away as someone could be to offer suggestions or criticism when it comes to welding.

But I watch a lot of car shows on tv and YouTube. By that experience you need to make many happy little tack welds while moving around to minimize warpage. That’s about all I got.

Idk those sliders, looked good to me.

How come we have grinding smilie but no welding smilie

You told me you needed a whole floor??
I have a piece about 10"x 14" ??? that I cut out of the Crawlabago when I installed the marine hatch you can have.

I walked past the piece of bed floor that you forgot to pick up again today.
But it looks like you did a good job of bending tin!!

I will take it if you don’t mind. I still have at least that much to fix besides the two 8x pieces I made

I still laugh that we managed to mess up that exchange twice
:doah:

how bad is your bed? I have a 70s bed and an 80s bed.
I don’t know if it’s bad enough to drive to get it. What did we figure, 6 hours one way?

Aside from the last foot, the wheel wells are the worst. Pisses me off because I’ve tried to spray it off after every snow storm for years

But these things are made out of compressed rust and are constantly trying to revert back to their natural state

I know @Wes Harden is coming to town, if he comes through GJ on the way to Denver, he could pick up your chunk 'o bed and bring it to you.
