Take more pics, im interested in how your getting it done and how well it will work.

No one loves a reg cab long bed so we need to stick together!
Sure. Anything in particular to help you?

I don't think that you can take full credit for "how pretty "

But I laughed my a** off anyway! !!!

:flipoff13:

Yeah, it didn't take that much clean up to get pretty. Cut pretty straight

how it's attached maybe a side picture or two in the wheel wells facing it.

I need to do something and don't want to trash the cab corners or bedsi

So food for thought on this

Butt welded the runner along the bottom as well as welded the top where the lip meets the radius. Ground it back flush at the radius point so I could stack the pipe chunk against the runner. Think he said 10" diameter pipe?

Then welded the top to the sheet metal, and the bottom to the runner. Both ends solid.

Nice part was I whomped that section at Chinamans, so it had a big dent. Just kept clamping and welding, pulled most of it back to the slider

Damn, those look good! Little better edge finish than mine. I was going to tell you that there will be some significant cleanup required but figured you would see it soon enough. That thickness pushes my plasma pretty hard. I don't recall exactly what diameter but it was around a 9 - 10" pipe.

That quarter pipe is a pretty neat idea. I'd be on that - if I wasn't so damn short. Need a step to get my old big ass up there.. lol

@Babaganoosh

.75" wide piece right to the lip on the bottom. Hangs down a tad.
This length is 30"

Did 1" welds top and bottom, 6" apart. Top, end, and under on the ends

The end after a little grind. I leveled the weld flush with the runner so the pipe section will not ride on the weldimage.jpeg

From underneath. Just used vice grip c clamps and tapped the runner where I wanted before welding.image.jpeg

The slider piece is .25" x 2.5" x 30".
Again, welded the ends on three sides. 2" welds on the ends, 1" weld every 6" the rest of the way.image.jpeg

After a wire brush just to show how much of the fender is grabbed by the weldimage.jpeg

Sorry to ask a dumb a** question, but are you still using a stick to weld?

If so, you are doing a f'ing awesome job!!!!
