The Cummins K30

I live on a farm. I grew up on a farm. I hope to die still living on a farm. I stand by my statement.

Ahh, I see.....

["Farming beats working."] = "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." :waytogo:

That's why I wish we still had our farm.
I could deal w/ South Dakota, to live/work on my own farm. :D

EDIT: good lord did we take this train off the rails... :haha:

Here's the truck in its more natural habitat. No more big city livin!!!

This might be a little off subject, but I thought it would be cool to post this pic.

what do you use to pull a 4wd tractor out of the mud? How about a 200,000 lb tow strap?

Congats on the move man! :waytogo:

Farming is a great way of life...I am very lucky to have meet my wife and farm now.:D

If it wasn`t for her and her family I`d be stuck in some Fnig city working construction.

Truck does look at home there.:thumb:

Awesome man. I live in the city for school and go back home to the country for the summer. I got a job on a farm with my girlfriend for this summer, so I'm looking forward to getting out of the city environment ASAP.

I've been awful busy lately and haven't updated this in awhile. The truck is handling farm life well. I use the hell out of it and its almost always hooked to some sort of a trailer. Here's a shot I took while I was delivering the corn planter to the field.

That's so awesome!:bow::bow:

I really feel that I would be quite happy working my a$$ off on a farm. I know it's hard work, but it seems rewarding/peaceful. Maybe someday.

My Dad always gets pissed when I do things like that. Thinks I am tearing things up. I wanted to put a PTO hydralic pump on my new K30 so I could move equpment easy. You should have heard the a$$ chew I got when I pulled 4 NH3 trailers back to the distributor. When he was done he asked how in the hell I hooked them all up.

You would have to put a three point on the back of your pickup to pull our monster of a planter.

Lol. This planter is pretty small compared to most, but my dad is only farming about 600 acres. The rest of the land is rented out. Now that I'm back home he's going to be getting bigger equipment and farming more of the land next year

Oh, don't get me wrong, our planter is WAY bigger than we need. It is a 24 30" John Deere. We don't have near enough land to really need it, but it is sure nice. I was running the field cultivator, and my little brother was planting this week. We hit it fairly hard, and he was planting two quarters a day.
