Bolt through heim into knuckle for the tie rod. Noticed a microscopic amount of play. Tried to tighten it. Nut would not turn on the bolt. And the bolt would not turn in the heim. Cutting and persuasion won.

I have been hit by 120v so many times doing house wiring, I don't feel it.
And when somebody asks to borrow one. I get that one out. They say "no thanks", and buy one.

This logic also applies if you own a stick-shift automobile. What's that? You can't drive stick? Bummer, I guess you'll hafta get a ride from someone else.

I only keep storage on my truck until I need it. It has proved to be a valued asset when my brother asks to borrow it for something. Sure you can borrow it, just pay the insurance on it. He usually finds another way.

I blame that rusty bolt on the deep water I had to through repeatedly in Michigan. Stupid rust.

If your truck is rusting in the presence of unsalted Lake Michigan, I'd hate to see what would happen if you encountered actual salt.
I consider that deep water to be a cleansing, rust-proofing wash down. The chance to finally get the salt washed out of the corners. It's all a matter of perspective.
From where I'm at, any moisture is no Bueno.
So...do you find yourself ever actually using your wipers? Or are they just to wipe the sand off the windshield?
