The Mistress 1982 K10 (Rockwell Mud Slut)

awesome truck man! what did you use for the gauge cluster lighting? I am doing the whole green accent lighting as well and was wondering what you used for those lights? in your picture of the guages the lights fill up the whole cluster not just spots like those regular gauge lights.

Thanks man, the autometers are implanted in the stock bezel :grind: and have led lights behind them as well as led lights in all the stock locations, they are available on eBay as a direct replacement. I didn't reuse the black cluster cover or the clear cover.

awesome man, do you have any pictures of when you built/implanted the guages in the dash? That is another to do on my list is new gauges.

Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the process. But I can tell you how I did it. I used a dremel with a cutting blade to saw through the factory bezel and make room for the 2 5/8 gauges, I had to then use a Carbide burr bit in an angle grinder to enlarge the holes, its tedious and time consuming. wiring wasn't so bad I used jumper wires to connect the new gauges to the factory power sources as well as grounds. I used a mechanical gauge for oil pressure and an electronic water temp gauge. The lights in the gauges are daisy chained and tied into the stock harness. It's not too bad, I'd do it again, in fact I'm going to do it again on my blazer. Maybe ill do a little write up on it.

Oh i thought maybe u got real fat all of a sudden and it was leanin from you sittin in it :D

Dropped in the new griffin radiator last night, its not quite as wide or as tall, but I think it utilizes space better. All aluminum construction compared to the plastic tank version I had, its a gorgeous piece. I did run into a snag though, the upper rad hose is 1.5", larger than its stock predecessor. Luckily I had a 1.5" flex hose that dropped right in!

ive been waiting for snow to get the truck out and play...i shouldnt jinx myself, if i keep complaining about the lack of snow were going to get 4 ft

by the way, the truck is awesome.
