The Mistress 1982 K10 (Rockwell Mud Slut)

First run!!!!

First weekend out! Didn't get a ton of wheeling done, had some cooling issues and lost my only alternator belt. Saturday Night 12 AM we went out for the Annual midnight run, July 1st is the first day the flats are open, no photos from that cuz it was too dark. We were the biggest rig in the group of 30+ Jeeps in stock trim  so we didn't play too hard. Had a few 3' deep water crossings and had no issue, didn't hardly even get dirty. We mostly camped and hung out. We had a dip**** in a Ranger destroy a wheel bearing next to our camp at 3AM that same morning. The wheel popped off and passed him. :haha:They took an hour just to get it out of the road.

After fueling up, Ash wanted a mirror pic :pimp:

Then we hooked up to the big rig to head out. Used the Volvo as a motor home :D:D:D

Ashley pulled off another great paint job, masked off the letters perfect :pimp::pimp::pimp:

Thats awesome man. Congrats on the first wheeling trip.

Truck looks freakin nastay :thumb:

Have a backyard muddin event coming up this weekend and I've compiled a list of things I need to do.

- Fan shroud
- Coolant reservoir
- Adjust timing
- Throw on a 600CFM carb and idle up to 800+rpm
- 2nd battery
- Slightly more fender trimming
- Re-adjust the kickdown cable
- Check diff fluids for water

Sweet, Haha I know what you mean!! I took mine out about 2 weeks ago for a little flex/trail ride to see how I liked the new tire/axle swap, and those ground hawgs chewed the driver side fender to hell! Probably gonna end up doing the same cutting your doing.

I'm assuming your tranny cooler is the one in the bed in your pictures? If so, what size cooler and cfm fan do you have on it, and what temp are you running about? That's next on my list.

Have any more pics of your winch mount? Trying to see where the drum engagement lever lands when you mount feet forward between the frame rails.

Thanks.

Ill get some more. I centered the fairhead and used the bottom pad bolts to hold on the fairhead. My lever ended up on the drivers side with ample clearance from the frame. frame. Since I have a 2" bodylift its pretty easy to engage/disengage. My control box is mounted between the rails as well and is easy enough to reach from the passenger side. I didn't cut the grill or the grill trim piece eithet

I bounced my truck really hard on a hill/corner and it bit my fender bad and tore out the inner fender. I'm mainly going to cut part of the inner fender and just take off the corner of the outer fender.

That's a 10" 1000cfm fan and a double pass trans cooler. After rodding on it I can still touch the cooler, as far as temp I'm not sure haven't out in a guage yet

Thanks. I found out last night you can clock the smittybuilt winches so I think thats what I am going to do. I still would like to see pictures though.

Took her out to my friends this weekend for some backyard rut digging. Mowed their pasture on Tuesday and also did some disc-ing and ripping to loosen up the soil, soaked it for 2 days and here are the results. Had a poly-lock come lose on one of the exhaust rockers that ended my weekend cuz it was 105* in the shade by 11AM, so I watched a few other rigs get stuck and break. My buddy spun a few main bearings and killed his 86 F250 with no bed, front sheet-metal, and 44 boggers it was a blast other than the Sahara like temps.

I tackled the pit early and it wasnt as soaked in and sloppy as it ended up
