The Purple Camaro

An air shifted Lenco does, but you still have to dump the clutch to get out of the hole.
I feel the same about air shifters as I do about delay boxes, clutch management systems, et al

Ok, let’s just get down to the core, a Lenco is a far manlier trans in a drag car than a 4L60. We’ll take the how it’s shifted part out of the equation. You are a purest for sure. :haha:

Get off my lawn comment coming in 3…2…1…

If it has a third pedal it's good by me. I'd really like a Lenco ST1200 4 or 5 speed at some point...doubtful it'd be air shifted though.

The price on those was a bit scary. But maybe they need a lawn to sponsor :dunno:

Zoo, I still have 2 other stick transmissions I could sell. Need me to fab up some pedals, and return the clutch you gave me and a new man card?

Dammit! You do know three out of my four rides already have man pedals right? Though until the K5 returns back to functionality and gets a/c all play funds are currently allocated.

If you still have that stuff later we may talk.

Both of my ankles are beyond repair, so running a clutch for any length of time is out of the question. Can I still have a "Man" card, if I manually shift my a/t's at least 95% of the time? LOL

I know your just busting me, and it’s all good

One side is 0 the other is 12 (where the Efi is timed for lockout) so both lines at the edges is idle, 3rd line is 36.
Hopefully I dont screw that up

So glad you are posting this, I feel super spoiled with the LS platform. Are you going bro flow on this?

I'm not going to lie I have never set timing with a timing light but have done it with a vac gauge.

LS engines make good race engines, they breathe really well, and take boost even better

I do have a Pro-Flow 4 for this. Need to do some match porting on the intake to the heads

As for the vacuum gage, the same principle applies. I typically use a vac gage when setting timing.

I read a bunch of hotrod books and posts wen I had my old 350 in the truck with a quadrajet. I learned a ton. Everyone thinks im nuts when it comes to tuning efi that i say go back to carb knowledge and it will make sense.

An engine is just an air pump. If you don’t understand the basics, the rest doesn’t apply
