Well, I have to eat crow.
It looked so heavy to me from the picture, and when I did searches I was getting anywhere from 22 - 35 lbs. And even GForce said this on their specific page dedicated to lightweight crossmembers...
So I figured there was no way it could weigh under 15 if their lightweight models weighed 25 and were reduced by 20%!
But just estimating the size of that thing, it appears to have about 15" of 2.5" square tube that's likely 1/8" thick. And then maybe on each side it has a foot of 3/8" thick x 3" steel plate. The math on that comes out to..........~13 lbs. Now I may be off on the thicknesses or lengths, and it wouldn't take much to make it over 15 lbs, but either way, it's not one of the super heavy A or G body crossmembers.
I was wrong. I can admit it.
Cookies are on the way, I planned to go get them but I cheated and had them shipped to you since it saves me time and doesn't cost any more by the time I go buy them and then ship them to you, and I already wasted time doing math on your crossmember weight since I'm so stubborn.

Although G Force has long been known for the strength, reliablity, and durability integral to our crossmember design, our customers asked for a lighter weight version to help them balance their vehicles' curb weight. For that reason, our engineers redesigned our four bestselling crossmembers to weigh 25 pounds or less—a weight reduction of at least 20% for each of them.
