The R/C Garage... [R/C Drivers Lounge]

What shocks did you get for the slash>?

If they're Integy's, shove something in the upper shock cap;
To push, and hold, the seal down, when screwing the cap back on.....

The rubber seals LOVE to slip outta place, and spew shock fluid all over.
Makes for a $hitty ride, and nasty clean up... :D

I don't know the brand of the shocks as they had to order them. I did pick up some stiffer springs and spacers in the meantime and that seemed to help raise the profile and make the suspension a little stiffer.

Once I get the hang of it I may upgrade the battery and drop in the higher gear. I think its pretty fast as is but that is only in relation to the clodbuster.

So I would like to build a scale crawler to match my big truck. I am looking at the proline 80 chevy body. My question is which is the closest electric crawler that would match this body? Looking to just play with it mainly. I was looking at the axial r/c but really don't know.

I would go with a axial scx-10, thats what i went with and love it and it matches up with the proline 80 chevy body really well.

Here is mine before I did some more mods...

Ended up messing the body up trying to narrow the front so I put the yota body back on it(Ill post pics with yota body on it later)

I broke the steering servo on mine today while beating on it pretty hard.:haha::doah:

The axial it is then! Will the KM2 R/C tires fit the axial size? Oh...we have a few hobby stores here in town but, is there a better place to buy online?

OP, I have the ProLine beadlock wheels as well. My friend is sponcered by proline and I was able to get them for right about 50% off hobby store prices.

Axial SCX is the way to go for a scaler. :pimp:
