"The Raped Grape" turning wilted raisin... ***crash update, pics start post 600***

Well I went ahead and bought that proportion valve I linked to. I needed to buy one as my stock one on my truck wasn't allowing any fluid what so ever to the rear so I took it apart to clean it out and every seal in it fell apart in my hand and parts were rusted solid together so I needed to buy a new one. The one I bought which is supposed to be for a full disc setup was $58 and for a stock replacement one the cheapest I could find was $89 so I figured I'd give it a shot and see what happens. Should be here by Friday.

I wasn't sure about the idea of the big lift and 44`s,but now with the pics......

I like it!!! :thumb::thumb:

Thanks. I think im the opposite. Now that its all lifted and on 44's I dont know if this all was a good idea :haha: :doah: this d@$# thing is massive. I dont think the pictures do it any justice...................... No turning back now :haha: :woot:

Buddy ran a 12+3" body lift n 44s, thing was stupid huge.
It was def a bit overkill for most things and hard to maneuver. But it looked badazz :haha:
Fer got to mention, purple accents looks rad :waytogo:

Run it man my blazer had 10" of lift no biggie, course my lift used Dodge springs and none of the factory mounts and flexed like crazy. It was actually too much flex. But it rode great too.

There are some advantages to being tall you just gotta drive a bit different

Damn, Nate!!!

Dem some BIG A$$ Tars!!!!

Yah just a tad. Just think I had a lead on some 54" x-terrains. But I woulda had to run more lift:haha:

And Mike when am I gettin that bolt in steering box frame brace? been waiting by the mail box for it for months:pimp: haha

Thanks guys! Dont anyone get me wrong I still love this truck and how its turning out even tho I know this is going to be the stiffest most rough riding truck. For the wheeling I do which is 95% sand dunes its still gonna be alot of fun. Im just planning on running some suspension bucket seats to help counter act my not so springy springs.

Does my truck logically make any sense at all? No

But is it huge and obnoxious and B.A. lookin? Fok yah it is:thumb:

Well, at least you're not going to need Craig's lift if you need to change the t-case....

I was wondering that lol, who cares as long as you have fun!

Truck is looking great. :thumb:

Finally got my brakes all finished up. Turns out the rear line was blocked at the master cylinder. Got the blockage out and what do yah know I got fluid the my rear calipers :doah: anyways the right stuff proportion valve I bought was a direct fit and looks nice and is supposed to be for rear disc converted trucks so once I get it running and driving again I'll be able to test it out and see if it works

Also started working on my dash I'm making again. Dash pad was all cracked and nasty so I ripped it all off to get to the steel frame of it and I welded some expanded metal behind all of the wholes and am going to marglass the whole dash to make it all smooth with no wholes and then paint it. Hopefully it turns out how im in visioning it.
