The flat plate shock mounts, the external hubs and the cast left side spring mount. The spring pad spacing is slightly different from chevy as is the overall width, also it will need a dodge specific spring plate for the right side as the 2 bolt holes are spaced differently then GM. Oh and the factory steering arm has a rise as opposed to a drop, and IIRC the rotors are thinner then GM and the wheel studs may be 1/2" as opposed to 9/16's.

We used a later dodge 60/70 combo from a 92 Cummins truck in my brothers Wagoneer, we had it and one of my GM 60's sitting next to each other noting differences.

Nothing wrong with it, the external hubs have some flaws, most can be overcome, as a matter of fact Colbystephens used one in his current K5 and has a write up on the swap in his thread.

Yah I was unaware that it was a dodge 60 until your post but w/e it will still work for me. And this one has internal hubs not external hubs. I have to try and figure out what year the axle is yet.

I thought they were external cuz it had those bolts on the outside. :dunno:

Nate, I know you just spent some coin, but, since you've got a Dodge 60 w/ external hubs.........these are a smoking deal http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/axle...rand-new-external-dodge-d60-locking-hubs.html

The first 60 I bought, was a DRW GM that some one converted to single wheel using dodge external style hubs, anyway I bought 2 sets of these from this guy myself. I ended up swapping to GM hubs later since I will most likely need a 35 spline upgrade ( that axle is under the Cummins K5 ~ 1000ish ftlb's tq :D) but the hubs are as listed and a great deal as external hubs are getting harder to find.

Well these axles do have a decent set of super winch lockouts but for that price I may pick them up as spares for if the superwinch ones ever start going bad. That is a pretty smoking deal. Thanks for the heads up:thumb:

Well finally was able to get my axles into work to get blastEd but the darn things rusted before I even got them home. Luckily for deulings discovery of Fast Etch from Eastwood took the surface rust right off no problem and now they are ready for tear down, paint, and rebuild. Then put them in finally:thumb:

Before blast

And after spraying the fast etch on. Took the pic 5 minutes after I put it on.
