The restoration/modification of Daisy.

Lemme think about it man, I do have to smog the truck. NV is fairly lenient but I do ha e to stay efi of some kind. I'll get back to you soon.

Well, if all else fails, you only have to smog a vehicle in Clark and Washoe counties so you have 15 other counties where you could get a P.O. box and register your ride out of one of them.

Not saying I ever did that.....

NV has actually cracked down on that a little. It has to be a physical address not just a PO box anymore. But yeah I know plenty of people that register their **** up in Beatty or tonopah, etc. In fact I think I even know a guy in Beatty that I could use to help me hmmmm...

Well leave it to Nevada to close a loop hole and force a person to abide by the rules.....sheesh.:doah:

we are right next to CA, unfortunately some of their **** rubs off on us. 2 years, 2 more years and i'm moving to CO!

That's exactly the reason I moved to Montana, to get away from California's influence!

yeah, montana is a little too rural and cold for me. we're looking at the denver area, smaller than vegas but still has everything you need/want. cold/snow, yes, but not as bad as a lot of other places.

I actually miss Nevada being as I was born and raised there. There isn't one spot of northern Nevada's back country I don't know like the back of my hand. I had a couple of friends back in the day where we would load up our trucks with .22's, sleeping bags and coolers, gas them up, grab a map and go find a dirt road we'd never been on just to see where they would take us. We left Reno one Saturday morning and found ourselves in Battle Mountain the next afternoon and we never touched pavement..........good times.

I can honestly say that there aren't a whole lot of area's around these parts you can do that because of all the ranch land.

yeah i do like that about NV. you can take dirt roads from Las Vegas to Idaho.

denver makes me claustrophobic, too many people. you want the western slope. no emmisions testing trails are everywhere. cops are more leniant. good money to be made in the oil and gas industry. needs more bbq.

No emissions in Colorado Springs unless you have a diesel. MANY businesses and you can live east of town with land and still only be 20-30 minutes from everything

denver is still smaller than vegas and my wife's work is there. i'd love to live on the western slope, maybe someday...

Im looking to move back to Co. in a couple of years as well. I lived in Cortez for several years and loved it. Was thinking Co. Springs but we'll see. Im in the trucking business so I think I should be able to find work out that way. Just need to finish up some business here in Cali.

Wishing for updates on your burb too. LOL

I hear you there, mine has been sitting in primer for weeks now with the same problem. Wrong time of the year for sure! :1zhelp:

Yeah I'd love to sand and prime mine sometime soon but Xmas, new years and the cold weather are getting in my way.
