You'll still have the cool electric fan setup on your trans cooler.![]()
here is what I used on my powerwagon but I never finished the truck before I moved.
...is the front air dam still in place? That is a key component of the cooling system. So I hear...
Are your radiator and condenser clean? fins straight?
Solid plan.
You might not call it a loss of power, but rather that you are directing a small percentage more to critical cooling duties via a mechanical engine fan. Maybe that's a delineation without a difference, but I support the idea of a deep pitch mechanical fan and stiff fan clutch, especially for a truck that's setup for work and adventure.
I take comfort each time mine engages, and the needle stays steady while I continue to pour on the coal.

Been looking to relocate to someplace cooler myself. Housing took a dump here back in 08 and value's are just coming back up in my hood that I may be able to sell. Need to get some decent down payment saved up and I'm outta here.10:45pm and it's still about 100deg... :-(
52 here at midnight pretty much. Though I'm still gonna eventually get the AC working cause now 90 feels stupid warm.
My buddy just moved up to Washington state, been watching the temps up there and while it's a little wet, the temps are soooo much better.
