The Shop Truck

1971 Chevy C20 with a custom flat bed.
I forgot to mention, the reason she was having trouble with the throttle is more because I need to re-do it. With the rubber floor and padding in, you have to shove the pedal pretty hard to get to 100%. I need to bend it up and put a nice positive adjustable stop on the floor so it works better/easier.

Every time her and Wade get together the Oompa Loompa song starts playing in my head.

You got a 15 out of a almost stock lq4? I thought my truck was fast and it just did a 16.7 with a chicken foot. :haha: Maybe it was the front end lifting a corner mid shift into 3rd.

I think it could do a high 14 with a little luck and good air. I still don't know how much it weighs...

Well the tcase, gears and tires don't help me but it isn't a drag truck. It's more fun in the dirt to run it hard anyway, the suspension makes it float not lift like the street does.

Good news from the machine shop. They only needed to hone it out .001" which means I only need 1 new piston. They said the bore was a little tight before (.006" over piston size) and that they would recommend .008 over bore anyways with how much power I'm looking to make. They said that the tighter bore is likely why I damaged the one piston skirt.
