It's been awhile since I've posted any update to the ole' build thread but after months of gathering parts and waiting patiently for a few free days I was finally able to get the new motor put in along with some other works to the mud truck.

One of the last pieces I needed. I helped a buddy going through some back problems work on his street truck and gave me this for payment. Holley 750 DP:
driving it over to the shop to put the motor in. The last time this truck will ever be driven on the street... Kind of a somber moment for me. Haha:
Pulled the front clip off to make it easier to work on this monstrosity. At this point I started to finish removing anything on the firewall that wasn't going to be needed in the mud:
Got the old tired 350 TBI out:

after a couple of days of mocking up a fan, and running some heat up cool down cycles I'm ready to hop off in a mud hole and see what I can tear up!:

In the other works going on we cut out the original dash and building a plain Jane cut to the chase dash for gauges, switches, and a nice dry place to mount the MSD box and coil:
Test fit Obviously done before all the wiring and ECM was removed and was a dumping place for crap I didn't want sitting in my garage floor lol:
