Nope. Bolt them on and let it run. I'm actually debating the same swap in size just so I can fit in the garage without airing down and to get a little more pep out of it.
Yup, i forgot about that aspect on smaller tires. Added benefitNope. Bolt them on and let it run. I'm actually debating the same swap in size just so I can fit in the garage without airing down and to get a little more pep out of it.
If I’m reading this right, you can fit 15” wheels on 8 lug axles with some caliper grinding? If that’s the case I’m gonna have some 17x9 steelies and brand new 37” BFG’s for sale. I love small wheels and big tires.
Do you have a Dana 60, or a Dana 44 (GM 10 bolt)?
Either are doable, the Dana 60 takes a lot more work.

Sometimes it's a marketing thing, they sell them cheap to corner the market on a new product, once people start talking about them they increase the price with the demand.Cooper evolutions are $283 a tire cheapest of that size range.
The general grabber looks good as well but $393 a tire.
Not sure why the Coopers are so much cheaper than all the rest
3/4 ton stuff; no 60
I am sorry but I went through 10 pages and it's not a fluke, you always say 4' lift instead of 4"Got the front done... ran out of time, will do the rear tires tomorrow.
Looks far better with 35' cooper evolution MT, at least to my eyes.

And 35' tires
I'm pretty sure Contexk5 has a Dana 60.

I used to think that but now having 17" wheels I feel they look pretty good.I will say 15" wheels would probably be a better look overall however, these look good enough and better than before.

SKYs makes caliper mounts to run 3/4 ton calipers on a D60 frontAh dang. I’d love to run 15’s.
Thanks...that looks really good TJ![]()
Hahahah. No doubt about that. But the thread has a lot of good info.. should be a sticky....maybe not. They look good on your truck!
I think this is the most discussed tire/wheel purchase ever on CK5!
