TnA Engine Crossmember Kit

i havent seen it asked yet, will a 5.3 LS engine oil pan cooperate with the crossmember?

Yes! In the old thread there were a few people that bought these and had an LS swap. I haven't personally installed one in an LS truck yet so I can't say for sure exactly how much clearance there is at specific points. Considering different engine mount combinations and placements, things might be a little different under there depending on your particular combo, but I can say that there are at least a few members on here that have done the install without any interference. I can't say for sure since I don't talk to every customer about their exact install, but I'd wager a guess that I've sold these to probably 5-10 people with LS's and haven't heard anything back about fitment issues! ;)

I should be installing mine here shortly with the cross member, diy4x motor mounts with a lq4 6.0L. I'll be glad to take pictures if you want some!

Cool. I've been going back and forth on engines lately and will likely end up with an LS just to get it done right the first time.

Bump cuz im ready to order.

Any in stock?

Actually, I'm now making these in a much more HD version, still three piece design, but it now replaces the factory "triangles" that the motor mounts bolt to. It makes everything even stronger, and the only trade-off is that you must lift the motor to install it since the motor mounts bolt to it. Once bolted in though, the underside center section still unbolts for oil pan removal, and it still includes provisions for a track bar.

***Pricing remains the same as the old version at $250 plus shipping. It uses more steel but it is slightly easier to fabricate so I'm able to keep the price down. Shipping will be slightly more though as it weighs in just a little heavier.

P.S. - These are fabb'd upon request so please plan on a 1 week or so lead time from placement of order to FedEx's hands. Thanks!!

Darren, You called me the other day about accidentally sending me the wrong cross member. You said that you sent me the older style by accident, but looking at the pictures that you have here, I am pretty sure you sent me the right one. So I hope you didn't send me another one! -Nic

Hey Nic,
Yes, the one you received is wrong, the new one is on it's way to you. Some of those pics show the original side bracket and some are the newer shorter one. It's hard to see the difference in the pics, but there really is a fairly significant difference. It's all in the clearance of the bracket to the long pitman arm that some crossover setups use. I accidentally grabbed the old file when I cut a few of these a while back and yours was one of them unfortunately. I have since moved that file out of the system so I won't do that again!! Lol.

Lol, thanks man! I try my best, although sometimes things do "fall through the cracks" so to speak. I hate it when that happens but I try to fix them asap for sure.

P.S. - Are you really also from Greenfield?? If so that's quite a coincidence since I am from Athol and now living in Colorado!

Is this cross member good for first gens? If not, do you have one that works for first gens? I'm looking to add a track bar.

Hmmm, nope I don't have a design made for the first gens, and I'm pretty sure they are different. PM me some pics of your current crossmember and frame in that area and we can chat about it.
