I'm interested if it could be done somewhat affordably. $400-500 wouldn't be really worth it to me tho...Just so you guys are aware, since it was asked, there were 8lug 16" rally wheels as well. I only know cuz I ended up with 2 of them. Unfortunately have not found 2 more.

all i could find are custom made ones $$$
you have any pics of the ones you got?
I work mine hard.
Caution. Picture and video whoring ahead.

Half ton axles work just fine, especially for what you're running.
I snapped an axle once on my rear 10 bolt. I'm locked with 4.56 gears and 35's. I replaced the rear axles with some chromoly units from superior, haven't snapped an axle since. They costed me $99 per axle from ORD.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, I beat the piss out of my K5.

Imiceman, are you taking reg. 14ff hubs and having them turned down? how do you go about redrilling for 6 lug pattern? to you have to fill the old holes and stard all over? could fellow K5er get some $50 6 lug FF hubs?
also, how much material is removed?
I went out and snapped a couple of pics.....
