WL: 1975 K5 (previously "Another new (to me) K5.")

They're on.

I also found that the PCV vacuum line from a TBI engine works perfectly. Looks much better than vacuum hose.

That cleans it up nice. The orange looked more stock but against the non stock intake it doesn't matter anyway. What else you going to paint now? Lol.

Looks good, Ive always liked cast AL valve covers for their rigidity and sealing.

Although I was never sure if the new o-ring style would seal up with the old cast iron cover rails that aren't machined, looks like it is working fine?

I like to take a detour in my way to the bar.

I did that the day i blew my head gasket.... Idk how the fock I got it on alone, without scratching or breaking or denting anything...... But it sucked.

Unfortunately it came right back off :haha:

Yeah, I've done it. I don't care enough about having a hood to do it again.

I use 2x4s to Prop up the front to get the bolts out. I've done it a few times without scratching up anything too bad. Still no fun. Nice bar hop trail you got there.

So I tried the "discard the rubber end pieces" for the first time, and just used silicone.

I have an oil leak at the back of the block.......

Are you talking on the intake manifold? I always use only silicone with no issues.

Is the distributor gasket in place?
