WL: 1975 K5 (previously "Another new (to me) K5.")

I was speaking more of the "first one to use it" game. Anytime anyone in the family gets something new everyone tries to use it once before they can. Although usually it's not an entire garage. :rotfl:

Put a battery in it the other day. Drove it to town, and washed it off and vacuumed it out.

Used it as a fencing rig.

Took it through the cut for shits and giggles.

Used it for checking pivots. That ones stuck.....

Gave my daughter Macke her first Blazer ride today (moved it across the yard).

The other night we took it up the cut, and then turned around and came down. Half way down the hill, my brake pedal went to the floor, and I lost my brakes. Pretty quick ride to the bottom.....

As soon as it leveled out, my brakes were back. I checked the fluid level later. The master cylinder is full. Anyone ever experience that before?

How much of an incline was that? Definitely not something that's happened to me

Pretty steep downhill, but I’ve done it in a lot of my trucks.

Nice build. The rust would annoy me, but it has a certain charm with the fender trim outlining air and oxidized sheet metal. Mostly air.

Yes, the seals are done and they are not pushing the fluid just going through it like in shock absorbers
