I thought it was an official unofficial rule that no one on CK5 can have an operable parking brake. :what:

Yall need some parking brakes. I have mine set per spec, which is just shy of perfect.

Every square I got had a bad parking brake.
I always took care of it.
The problem is it's not self adjustment and even the newer ones that are, don't always work properly so you need to interfere.
Even my newer late 90s early 2000s need some attention

I need a shorter mid cable to make my park brake work.

On the front axle?

Sure, why not....

or that rim doesn't fit the rear axle? ;)

It's kind of an unwritten rule for me you can't get new tires without doing a burnout with the old ones. How can you let a perfectly bad tire go to waste. That would be like throwing away a rotting watermelon without shooting it.

I needed new tires on my daily last fall, which I had never done a burnout with ever, so I stopped, disabled traction control and stabilitrak, dropped it to manual 1st gear, got 'em roasting and then bumped second and let it carry for longer than I expected (the bone stock L86 is no slouch), was a nice rolling smoky burnout....the kids were laughing....and then I looked over and got "the look" from the wife. It was worth it.
